Recently sold my 15 year old Gary Fisher Utopia hybrid. Looking to replace it with either a Giant Escape 1, or a Trek Verve 3. Primarily ride on a paved bike trail, a little on roads and hills and minimal on gravel. Ride a couple times a week for about an hour at a time. Any thoughts on whether I am looking at the appropriate bikes, and/or any thoughts on these bikes for 2017? Thanks.
