Yes this is an Avanti Ultra, made by a NZ company probably back in the 80's, or early 90's at best.

Lunigma - did you need any sort of tensioning device at all? SB gives me the thought that I don't need one...

you don't need to use a tensioner, just leave a little bit of slack, once your'e adjusting the wheel you'll figure it out. it feels pretty cool, it's hard to describe.

oh and heads up, you might not want to use sheldon's pics without permision
