Profound statement for sure.
Toe overlap is a symptom of smaller frames and the short wheel base of a race bike, if you don't want any toe overlap that bike is not for you. Being aware of it and riding a bike that has toe overlap is not a real issue. Every race bike I have ever owned had toe overlap and I ride a 54 just like the bike in question. Perhaps the hybrids are exempt from toe overlap but I have never ridden one.
