The first time you install a folder, you unfold the tire and wrestle with it to keep from kinking while you get one bead on the rim with a tube inside, then keep that one on the rim while wrestling the other bead on. The first time you install a wire bead tire, you put in on the rim with the tube inside, no drama. After the folder's been on a while, there's no difference.
