Oh yes, the Mavic death squeal! If this goes on very long you will damage the main wheel hub. Frequent lubing is required to avoid this.

The wheels are Cosmic Carbone. Death squeal... hmmm.... I hope I haven't let it go too long in need of lubrication. Seems easy enough to take care of, but not having a good, well-lit place to work (nor much in the way of tools), I'm afraid I'd lose the pawls or something. There should be a fitting to just squeeze some oil into instead of having to take everything apart.
