If I could get traction, LOL! I always loved those Capri's too but they looked so close to the Mustang and everyone had one. In fact the only V-8 sports car I owned is my Corvette Z06 that I just put up for sale yesterday. It's an amazing car but just does nothing for me.
Heck what can you do with over 400 HP on the road....legally?
For me I certainly do prefer the 87 Waterford built Paramount over the PDG Series one I have. In fact the 87 yielded me the first 20 mph avg ride of the year for my 25 mile route. So nothing to complain about there. The PDG Series actually feels more responsive but on the rough roads it beats me up. I'll reserve final judgement on it right now though. It's got a really warn chain that needs to be replaced.
We three available at present, including a (my size) 25" '70s P10 in just fine/ok shape for a paltry $240. Campy headset is really the only original piece on it. One other PDG critter, a mountain bike. Portland has a handful.

Man, a C5 Z06! I may be in my early 30's, but I don't care about "oh a Corvette is for the mid life crisis" or whatever. HP/fun per dollar, including great handling, mileage, and practicality (with the long glass hatch, which opens to reveal a space darn near the same as my Camaro, where I can put a bike). I certainly want a C5 or C6 at some point. Too bad it never stirred anything inside for you. I think we all have cars that do that, much like bikes. I drove out three hours with my brother to look at what is now my Z28 6-speed Camaro, and I heard the thing's idle from across the parking lot and very much liked that. I bought it with an intake, headers, and exhaust job already done to it. Hilariously immature when I want it to be; calm and easy on long drives (27-30 mpg, too) and putting around town; and then when needed, plenty of rip, snarl, and acceleration. I have to mind speed limits, too, because with 300+ HP, it won't mind them for me!
