This is obviously a personal preference thing but I really don't like the R785 shifters. Neither aesthetically or ergonomically.
I prefer the R685 shifter and that alone would be enough to make me keep the mechanical mechs.
I also have a Di2 bike with R785s which I am seriously considering swapping out for the normal DA Di2 shifters and putting on mechanical (Spyre) brake callipers.
