I agree with Andrew (though I would figure out how to cobble something together myself, but that is just me. My first thought was: not so strong steel in a Free Spirit. Probably rather narrow fork blades. A reasonable chance at less than ideal handling and shopping practices at some point in it's life (like the fork ends not being properly blocked for shipping, one blade getting bent in and both being bent "back" equally to fit the hub.)

A fork that is not symmetrical will quickly lead to real tendency to steer to one side.
