One more thing to consider: I'm nearly certain that hub is a 135mm hub, and your frame was almost certainly a 120mm dropout . Did you have the dropouts PROPERLY cold-set to something close to the new spreading, or did you just 'bung' it in? If the latter, that may be your alignment issue.
