Ten years ago or so my wife and I took the grandkids to the library. I wanted to make sure my grandson knew how to find a book. He said he wanted a book on hotrods. So we looked it up on thecomputer, wrote down the Dewey number, navigated the stacks, found the book and checked it out at the self-check. I asked if he had any questions and he said, "Why do you keep calling the computer the 'card catalog'?"
I guess that's like my grandmother telling me to fetch the milk out of the 'ice box'.
