Perhaps you can do some research on the person's tag number to find an address and mail them every bicycle advocacy/law group pamphlet you can find? Shoot 'em a "thanks for not killing me" card?

It sucks man, but ultimately you ARE fine and here *****ing loudly about something you could easily have shrugged off as the "stuff" that happens around entitled motorists. Good for you.
"Advocacy and Safety" Thread I think the title of this sub-forum covers "what I'm looking for"

I am fine. I have decades experience of riding in the roads, close calls are a daily thing. Some are more irritating than others.

I have a GoPro and I can post this video to highlight the poor bike-infra on this bridge and the illegal/dangerous driving by this person.

I let the local PD send this driver a greeting, I think that will be more effective than my note. I also shared the video with a local bike-infra planning group.

Funny, we bikers wonder why bikes aren't more popular in the US, most people find this video terrifying and won't leave the safety of the 2-ton death trap. And the 'bikers' all shrug like it's OK to bully a person with 4,000 lbs of steel 'cause "you're fine". For the record, I'm not OK with this status quo.

Lastly, I just wanna whine with some like-minded people. There are some here that get that, some that don't.
