That is sorta' the basis of the LC vs FRAP argument.
Riders who LC/VC think the left of center road position makes them safer
Compulsive FRAPPERS(of course I avoid door zones) argue that LC/VC isn't safer
There aren't-and never will be good numbers for either one.
FRAPing riders will always suggest "you LC/VC are pissing off drivers- and we have to pay that bill"
LC/VC will always respond "But I put my safety first-I'm not responsible for drivers unpleasant/illegal behavior"
and FRAPers will always respond "But you aren't safer-especially with TEXTING becoming the biggest risk"

So FRAP folks "THINK" FRAP in general is safer
LC/VC insist Left of center is safer-
But we all KNOW left of center pisses off drivers-to which LC/VC respond "that is their problem"

Not wanting to start a battle-VC/LC will probably completely disappear as TEXTING gets even worse.It is rare everywhere
