Closest group to me is 25 miles away and no members that I know of really any closer. So all group rides tend to be 40-60 minutes away. That's really why I'm not a dues paying member. Main reason I do as much road riding as I do is because of convenience. Out my back door and ride with no driving. If I wanted to drive to ride...I'd be more into mountain biking. Nearest trail is about an hour away. But I'm pretty time crunched most of the time so it just doesn't work out for me to hit the trails very often or to do group rides...even as much fun as they are.
