That is so silly. No LBS should charge you a premium to stock a bike you are going to buy. If anything a deposit would be a reasonable expectation but not a premium.

Yea I was very disappointed about that. I wanted to buy local, but its not going to happen. And it won't nearly be $70 in gas for me to drive and get it.
