Wool socks, around 40F and below I'll wear shoe covers.

Shorts with light tights over them.

Wool baselayer, T neck for 40-45F and below, V neck over around 45F. To some extent this will depend on wind & humidity. More humid= V neck. More wind = T neck.

Long sleeve medium weight jersey.

Gloves. Full finger.

That's it. If it were a recovery ride or maybe an opener ride, something where I won't be working too hard or too long, I might add a wind vest or choose a heavier jersey.

I like feeling cool-ish when I ride though and hate being hot.
