Stymied!!!!!

Kind of.

Was headed east, crested a hill just past Sunken Meadow, and heard a clunking up front. Headset (threaded type) was waaaaay loose! I went into my saddlebag to get my phone & get the exact location of a bike shop in East Northport I've been to once, to discover I left my pump home. Dang it. I took a break at Old Dock, went up into Kings Park where a kindly auto mechanic lent me 2 wrenches to fix the headset, and set course for home. 54 miles, headwind both ways of course. Great day, no "call of shame".
