When I got to Penn Station yesterday afternoon my train was just being announced over the PA; they said it was "approaching the station." Never a good sign. Ten minutes later, they made the same announcement but it wasn't a long wait after all. I'd guess we left five minutes late. My ride home from the station was lovely; a bit of a tail wind, warm sun, cool air, really very nice until a couple hundred yards from home when a bug flew into my eye. It was just a little bug but it stung like crazy. Riding with one eye, I tried to open my other eye but it was just too painful. And suddenly it got really hard to ride! Just as I was getting home I realized I'd been squeezing the rear brake lever ever since the bug impact! Doh. I washed my eye out and took a benedryl and it got better.

A cool ride this morning. A fox ran across the road in front of me. Full moon behind light clouds. Pretty nice!
