They're the Wal-Mart of the bike world. Remember that: great for grabbing what you know you need off the shelf at a decent price, keep plenty in stock that other LBS would never handle on anything but special order, but not the place to go if you need specialized help.

I've got three PBs by me. One has a pretty decent mechanic. One seemingly has a couple young kids working under an unknown mechanic who is never there on the weekends when I'm in, judging by the amount of "I'll have to ask the actual mechanic when he is in on Monday" responses that I get.
