That is a wonderful bike. The LBS closest to me started carrying Jamis specifically because of that bike. They have several models and sizes og the Renegade in stock. If I were in the market for a new bike that was extremely versatile and would meet my commuting needs, this bike would be at the very top of my list!! It seems to tick all the boxes.
I just realized you're in the PNW. Do you mind me asking what bike shop you're referring to? I've been trying to find a Renegade Elite to test ride and no one seems to have one.
