I did it! I bought the Performance from CL. Very happy with my decision. Solid bike, very well taken care of. Came with 4 panniers, extra tubes and spokes, headlight, taillight, patch kit.
I'm going to put a shorter and taller stem on it (threaded quill) to make it fit me better and give a slightly more upright position. Maybe new tires.
