Last Thursday did my evening Davis Is. ride for 33 miles. Saturday rode to Weedon Is. for 38 miles. Sunday I rode to Phillippe park via the Courtney Campbell trail for 43 miles. *Faux racing story...I was still in Tampa when I got passed by a flat bar road bike. My legs were already hurting and it felt bad. The cyclist was a red light runner (I'm not) and he quickly disappeared down the road. Later on the trail I saw him in the distance. I kept a steady pace into a strong headwind and finally caught up and passed him. Does it really mean anything? No, but it helped my frail cyclist ego feel better.
