It is a sketchy descent even without traffic so I would try to avoid it with guaranteed traffic. Unless you really want to see the finish, if you go up to Cow Saddle and then down to GMR/GRR, you can see them pass by twice. I would recommend bringing layers because it was freezing cold last time.
