Adjustable stems are a sales tool only... the correct non-adjuable stem will weigh far less, and cost less, too. Since that weight is high up on the bike, you WILL feel the difference.

find a local shop that sells used parts, or look on your local Craigslist for stems of a similar reach and a lift similar to where you had your adjustable paper weight set at, then save yourself some cash and weight.
