1) Functionally, the Chorus and Record will work the same, but the Record has some Ti hardware, and some extra carbon on the derailleurs.

2) Aesthetically I prefer the Chorus or Record alloy cranks. But a carbon crank is certainly intriguing.

Still haven't made up my mind yet. I was set on Chorus, but as I get closer to ordering I'm at least considering the Record.
