I don't know about any particular rules being broken more than others, by I do often observe a general lack of good manners, i.e., failure to make others comfortable. Yielding need not be done out of fear or weakness, it can be done as a matter of courtesy. What I observe more often, however, are cyclists proudly and often angrily exercising their "rights" rather than graciously giving way. For example, almost every time I take a short Citibike ride up nor down an avenue Ill see some cyclist assertively holding the curbside lane where drivers are attempting to turn across it. Ironically, half the time when I see that happen in front of me, I can just ease back, slide into the main traffic lane and go around the outside, getting through the intersection before the more assertive cyclist can fight his way through the pedestrians and the other cars trying to nose their way around the corner.
