Bikes: More bikes than riders

I'm absolutely not telling you to go one way or the other, but simply to be EXTREMELY sure of your choice when you make it. I've often made a purchase decision thinking I could get used to something that I didn't like. Of course, you can rarely (maybe never) find one product that truly "has it all", but for something as significant as riding position on a bike, be very sure that you can make the adjustment before committing.

I will say, though, that erring towards the bike with better components is probably a safe bet. The Coda Sport will have a slightly more aggressive feel than the base Coda, but if you buy the Sport and ultimately decide that you'd rather sit more upright, you can always change the stem to a taller one or an adjustable one to better fit your style. That would be a less expensive change than if you bought the base model Coda and decided you wanted better components like the Sport has.

Either way -- take as long of a test ride as you can get away with!
