Surly Disc Trucker - How much will new wheels change the ride?

I've got a 2013 disc trucker with the original complete bike package. The wheels are xt hubs with Alex Adventurer rims. I've had some feedback suggesting a lighter wheelset could make the ride more enjoyable for me. However, I would not spend a lot of money. It will never be a fast road bike.

Here is the wheelset I'm considering: Cyclocross / Road Disc
It would be the i19 CX Team.

My intent would be to make a longer ride more enjoyable, perhaps a bit easier. I'm talking about doing a century, 200k, even the shorter rides in the 50 - 100 mile range might matter. I'm trying to minimize the things I don't like about the trucker (feeling sluggish, hard to accelerate) and having the things I do like (stability, screaming down hills like a locomotive glued to the tracks, smooth ride, etc.).

Rather than obsessing over getting a new bike, maybe a wheelset would help significantly? Maybe not. I've never changed wheels on a bike before, always used what it came with. Just looking for feedback on this.

Oh, and for the record, I do not think this will make me faster. I just want a more enjoyable, responsive ride. I would like to get some centuries in this summer, and my goal is to do a 200k. I know how little things add up on longer rides. 30 miles and I can't even tell if my saddle is uncomfortable.

So what do you think? Would a different wheelset make a significant difference, or is it just too much about the frame tubing and geometry?
