MassDOT had a few boards up for people to mark up and comment at the Bike to work Fest at Boston City Hall Plaza on Friday morning. Secretary of Transportation Stephanie Pollack was there along with Director of Sustainable Mobility Jackie DeWolfe. I even think that both biked to the event. I had other things on my mind* so I didn't add anything to the boards. But very happy to see that they are doing some decent outreach for this. And I will add things to their website.

*I confess, getting to sit in the drivers seat of an MBTA bus (a nearly brand spanking new New Flyer for all you transit geeks) and learn about the bus driver's blind spots firsthand from an MBTA instructor seemed like the fun thing to do. I also learned how to properly use the bus mounted bike racks and was very happy to learn that they worked on my commuter with full fenders and dual headlights.
