Have this bike since it was new. Due to having kids I have not ridden it as much as it deserves. I thought that I had repacked the bottom bracket at some point, but having taken it apart, I am thinking that I have never done it. The fixed cup is still on, but the removable cup has a plastic race like none I have ever seen before. Not sure if I should break it and remove the fixed cup and break that one and repack with loose ball bearings on try to remove the balls with a tweezer and leave the plastic sleeve intact. Suggestions? I already had to eat crow and bring it to my local shop to have them loosen the lock ring.
