Bikes: A bunch of old bikes and a few new ones

The TX 900 is pretty sweet and there is one for sale in the C&V for sale forums (a 57 cm). It does take long reach brakes and comes with eyelets so it is also a pretty versatile bike.

The '83 170 might be the rarest of Trek's early racing bike. But you'll be fine with any top end Trek racing bike.

Edit: here is a link to the TX 900, http://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...-f-extras.html

Personally I prefer a racing bike that takes long reach brakes as that means you can mount a 28c tire no problem.
