There were many different levels of riders and had regroup points along the ride. I kept up with the front riders for about half the ride until we started really climbing then I fell back to the middle of the pack. It was mentioned a few times that I wasn't clipped in but nothing negative at all. Had one say I had an amazing cadence for not being clipped in and another say I was fast for not being clipped in so I got home and ordered and pair of road shoes and cleats to try. I'm not ready for the tight shorts yet though lol I'm working my way up to those I ride 50 to 60 mile rides in my exercise shorts, I just don't wear underwear and I'm not having any comfort or chaffing issues so I don't see the need to change them.
