Fiesta Island 20K ITT, Masters 60+ 3 of 4.



There is always teamwork in an ITT. I had to help my teammate onto the somewhat precarious top step of the podium and he desperately needs to work on getting his arms higher. We will work on that. In addition, I had to pin on his number.

Conditions for the time trial were excellent for the Fiesta Island course although I suspect there are certain wind contains that may be faster. I did hear some racers state that it was more humid than normal. 20K is measured by 3 laps around the island and my plan was to negative split the race riding each lap a little faster which I accomplished.

It was a fun day racing.
