I'm not sure whether you are talking to me or OP. If me, please accept my apology. No offense was intended. I was very clear about different strokes for different folks. You very skillfully discerned what the desires of your audience were, and you offered very suitable advice on that basis. I have no quarrel with that. I'm sure you would have been equally responsive to someone asking for a good value, budget oriented set of wheels. But if OP's attitude isn't offensive, I don't see how mine could be. He likes what he likes. I like what I like. Surely there is room for both of us in the BF tent.

As for comprehending what goes into the wheels and makes them special, that is really the issue. As so many here already know, I think 99% of that can be had for 1/4 the price. I'm not fond of paying 3/4 of the price for the last 1% of the function. As I said, I won't criticize you for feeling differently just as I did not criticize OP...well at least not overtly.
