I've gotten faster, but according to Strava, my speeds seem to be squarely in the middle of the pack. That's OK, I know I'll never race and I have a huge leg length discrepancy disadvantage - I just do it for fun, for the sake of exercise and to push myself. And to be honest, I do feel like a road bike was a gateway in that sense as I would have never thought to do long distances on a hybrid/MTB.

P.S. Wow, that's some crazy cadence
