Bikes: 2013 Trek 4.7 Flatbar Madone, 2018 Giant Roam 2

If it matters to you, looks like the Norco VFR 5 comes with disc brakes while the FX bikes do not. The FX seems to have better gearing for hills while the VFR 5 is almost like a flat bar road bike and is the more aggressive of the two bikes.
