Ive seen trainer tires from different manufacturers in the general price range of $25-$50ish.

If the the sole benefit of a trainer tire is that it tends to last longer on a trainer then I would prefer to not buy one for now. I also don't want to beat up my trainer so if using a regular tire is not good for it then I will buy a trainer tire. I like to save my pennies where I can, so if no harm, aside from accelerated tire wear, comes from using a regular tire, then I will feel good about using some of the tires I have collecting dust in my garage.
