Right, I installed the bb tight but not
really tight. The threads were chased before and are kinda loosey goosey. I started this thread after I noticed the bb was unscrewing on the ds after about 4 rides. I don't want that to happen again, but I'm wondering if a tighter install might keep the bb secured.
Anyway, if it's a facing issue I'll do that. But I'm not sure if it's possible that the threads themselves are slanted and, if that's a possibility, how I'd determine that was the case instead of facing.
