Right, I installed the bb tight but not really tight. The threads were chased before and are kinda loosey goosey. I started this thread after I noticed the bb was unscrewing on the ds after about 4 rides. I don't want that to happen again, but I'm wondering if a tighter install might keep the bb secured.
Anyway, if it's a facing issue I'll do that. But I'm not sure if it's possible that the threads themselves are slanted and, if that's a possibility, how I'd determine that was the case instead of facing.
italian bb on drive side need to be really snugged down as they are subject to being loosened by precession. that is why iso/britich are reverse thread.
