2 miles x 61 x 2 (you have to come back down) is 244 miles which is 17.4mph. That's a pretty decent avg speed when you spend half the distance climbing.

14 hours would definitely be a fast one, but I'm always amazed at how fast some of the guys are. Off-bike time can really add up if you're not careful. That's enemy #1 if you're going for speed.
