Say it isn't so! I agree that they are a bit pricey for what they are. I still use Conti Gatorskins for cycle commuting but have thought about going back to Panaracer Tserv and some others. What tires have you switched to? Everyone seem to like the Conti GP4000 but I doubt that they will survive as well from the tiny metal, glass and/or rock debris that I go through on my commute.
