Other garbage I've used:
1. Early American Classic hubs. Super light, sexy and rare back in the day (early nineties) but unfortunately terrible. External cam QR combined with soft-as-cheese non-knurled alloy axle bolts resulting in very weak holding force. This meant it was ridiculously easy to dislodge the rear wheel while standing on the pedals. Flat out dangerous. Actually, all external cam QRs suck, internal cam just works much better.
i managed to break their crank, and bend their seatpost too. not surprising they have retreated to the over-priced entire wheel market...
