Ours is phasing out due to the heat and lower number of tourists. Fall and spring are best. You can get spaces more easily during summer here.
I ride out on the trails at least once a week and will check out the camp grounds often. Last year I don't even think they got over half full most of the summer. The smaller camp grounds right next to it seems to be fuller, and they have Yurks you can rent to stay in but you have to reserve them early.
