=] i mean the bike with higher specs, not specialized. it doesn't take much of a ride to realize which bike fits better (geometry, position of body, etc). the components on the rainier outshine those on the rockhopper, so it will affect the ride experience, but the actual fit of the bike (how far you lean forward, how easy it is to pedal...) is more important than what components are on it.
