I changed the bearings on my front Surely hub and discovered that the balls were only 1/8th inch.
Does that make them not last as long as the ¼ inch balls on my rear wheel?

1/8th inch balls are closser together so maybe it does not make much difference?


What kind of front disc hub can I get with 36 spoke holes and ¼ inch balls in cartridge?


I got this Surely hub be cause it was the only one I could find with cartridge bearings. But I think by now there must be a larger selection....I hope.
