Gravel pump = Hx. Solve for x.
Looking to acquire a new mini-pump for my gravel rig and wondering what sort of pump you guys use for this application? One designed for road tires (and thus high pressure, or HP) or one made with MTB tires in mind (and thus high volume, or HV)? Does x = P or V?
On the one hand, I figure the 40 - 45mm tires I use are probably closer to MTB size than road, so maybe an HP pump is more appropriate. On the other, I commonly reinflate my tires to higher pressure when I get back on pavement, so the most frequent use of this pump would be to attain pressures higher than are common in MTB.
Recommendations?
