Id suggest trying more expensive tires... sort of what is being said above..

but, an easier rolling more supple tire is vulnerable to punctures vs one with barrier strips in the tread.

so get the knack for fixing flat tires , in your skillset..

Yea stem raisers will bring the bars up, but the cables would need replacing to reach the added height..
you may be leaning on your hands, too much , and thus the tingling..

Your friendly bike shop can do that for you, or ask about a consignment / trade in for a well fitting new bike..
