To the HunterHolt family,

Just wanted to add my condolences and to add that as another internet forum person who never met your brother, I obviously didn't know him at all, but as someone who has bike toured a fair amount, I was very impressed by his gumtion (sp?) of doing this trip, through Ontario and Quebec etc when we were having the wettest spring that I can remember, not to mention cold.

I'd be in my warm house and look out and think, man, that guy is still chugging along on his trip to out east, he's a tough cookie!

Good on him for the whole thing, and as has been mentioned, at least in his writings, he generally had a positive spin on the whole experience, which very much impressed me.
