and?? 20 mph average moving speed in a group is not that fast, especially when we will stop every 20 min to let the rest of the group rejoin at major junctions. . I know lots of people who can average 20 MPH in a century but I doubt I will ever be one of them. My solo rides are more usually around 16 -18

I thought I would edit my post to add this. It is one of the 'b' riders in my area. I will join them on their recovery rides sometimes.
