Man, that stinks! I just read the official statement on his website. Hope the guy changes his mind. Guess I'll have to keep an eye out for one on eBay and on the marketplace on here.

It has a mode they call Steady with Pulse Burst. With it the light is on low and flashes on high. It's 3 quick flashes then a short pause. It get's drivers attention because it's different and doesn't get lost with turn signals and other flashing lights. I don't see it listed on the Quad Red. I would check with DiNotte and if it doesn't have it I would go with the 400R even if you don't need the larger battery.
Yea', I've heard a lot about the flash pattern on the 300/400R. And the rep did mention a pattern change on the Quad Red - I forgot the pattern (he explained it to me), but I think (though I'm not entirely sure) that it's different. So I'd say a probable 2 points for the 400R so far, as I definitely wanted it for the battery, too. Thanks.
