Man, that stinks! I just read the official statement on his website. Hope the guy changes his mind. Guess I'll have to keep an eye out for one on eBay and on the marketplace on here.

Yea', I've heard a lot about the flash pattern on the 300/400R. And the rep did mention a pattern change on the Quad Red - I forgot the pattern (he explained it to me), but I think (though I'm not entirely sure) that it's different. So I'd say a probable 2 points for the 400R so far, as I definitely wanted it for the battery, too. Thanks.
