LOL, and this is the gist of it. All I care about using it is that it gives me another means to track my own effort. But people can and will use it as they wish. No getting around it no matter how you want.

In fact I noticed after a climbing ride that a whole lot of people avg 55 mph on the long descent segment. Then you see their cadence is 0 and HR is in the 60-70 range. Yep another mountain biker driving home that forgot to turn off his GPS, LOL! What are ya gonna do?
